When we did a top to bottom remodel on this house I tried to address every detail and make it perfect.
I have some regrets, some things I wished I would have done differently and some real home runs.
I’ll save the regrets for a different post. As far as the “phew, that worked out” rooms was this bathroom.
To begin with, it was pretty spacious for a 70’s rambler. Perfect for three boys to share.
Then I did something crazy and moved the wall IN 2 feet.
Yes, I made the room smaller in order to accommodate a shower for the master bedroom on the other side of the wall.
I was afraid I may have made a huge mistake by making the room smaller but so far, there haven’t been many space problems.
(If they were girls it may be different story).
The biggest life-saver to this room were these…
We were able to fit them right between the joists in the wall and no one knows they are actually storage.
This vanity adjacent is great but offers very limited storage for the whole bathroom which makes the storage cabinets so functional.
My friends at Concealed Cabinet have come out with a new wall-mount version of their unique picture frame medicine cabinets called The Picture Perfect Medicine Cabinet..perfect if you can’t cut in to the wall to recess their concealed cabinets.
Their surface mount cabinets come in three colors, are made of durable high-quality wood, have three adjustable wood shelves and have a picture frame front that can be decorated with your favorite art or mirror.
Not only are these a great solution for a bathroom but they could also work great in a kitchen to store spices or near the front door to hide your keys, phone and wallet.
And for some exciting news, one lucky reader is going to win a FREE Picture Perfect Medicine Cabinet for their own home (valued at over $300.)!
